Here is my quest to find the right HDTV. I wanted to replace my current 37″ 1080p LCD into something more current, with better black levels, less motion blur, better viewing angles, and BIGGER.

LCD TV seems to be very popular these days but my last choice for high-definition televisions are plasma TVs. Experts would agree that producing more plasma picture quality compared to LCD TVs. The contrast ratio and the quality of the blacks on plasma-screen televisions are much larger than LCD TVs. One of the reasons for LCD TVs has been so popular that the prices much faster than plasma TVs fell. But today, this factor is no longer relevant, since the prices are for both types of HDTVsimilar.
